The score is an analytical estimate based on the supplied resume and job description. It does not guarantee an interview, hiring decision, or ATS outcome.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Job Match Score mean?
It is an estimate, from 0 to 100, of how much of the job description's requirements your resume visibly supports. It compares skills, tools, keywords, experience, job title, education and certifications.
Does a high score guarantee an interview?
No. The score is an analytical estimate based on the supplied resume and job description. It does not guarantee an interview, hiring decision, or ATS outcome.
What is ATS compatibility?
Many employers use applicant tracking systems (ATS) that read resumes into structured fields. ATS Readability checks whether your resume is easy to read that way: clear headings, contact details, dates, simple layout and no hard-to-read elements. It cannot confirm how any specific system will behave.
How are keywords evaluated?
The tool finds skills, tools and repeated phrases in the job description, notes whether each is required, preferred or optional, and checks whether your resume uses the same or closely related wording. Terms shown in your experience count fully, terms only in a skills list count less, and related wording counts partially.
Why is my score low?
Common reasons are required skills that are not detected in your resume, experience described as duties without results, a different job title, or a resume the tool could not read well. Open the score breakdown and the requirement coverage map to see exactly which items were not detected.
Should I add every missing keyword?
No. Add a term only if it truthfully describes your experience, and use it naturally in context. If something is not detected, the tool suggests adding evidence only if you genuinely have the experience.
Can the tool rewrite my resume?
The optimizer needs an AI provider, which is not connected on this site at the moment. The analysis and recommendations still work without it.
Will the tool invent information?
It is designed not to. The optimizer may only use facts in your resume or facts you confirm. Suggestions that introduce figures that are not in your resume are withheld, and new skills or names are flagged for your confirmation.
How does the tool protect factual accuracy?
Every piece of evidence shown comes from your resume text. Each recommendation is labelled as supported by your resume, supported by the job description, or needing your confirmation. Rewrites are checked for new numbers, skills and names before they are shown.
Is my resume stored?
Your resume and job description are sent to this website's server to be analyzed. Uploaded files are read from a temporary location, are never executed, and are not kept after the request finishes. If you are not signed in, nothing is saved to an account. Results exist only in this page until you close or reload it.
Can I delete my analysis?
Yes. If you are signed in and an analysis was saved, you can delete it from the History section. Saved analyses are also removed if your account is deleted.

How is the score calculated?
The overall score is a weighted average: Hard Skills 28, Keyword Coverage 15, Experience 18, Tools and Software 12, Job Title 9, Soft Skills 8, Education 5, Certifications 5. Areas with nothing to compare in the job description are left out and their weight is redistributed. Each card lists the facts behind its score. ATS Readability, Resume Quality and Recruiter Clarity are reported separately.
